What You're Getting
The Wax Wicks
This pack contains 10 wax wicks made for burning in oil lamps and burners. Each wick is designed for use with standard oil lamps, including Holy Land clay oil lamps and other open-bowl burners. The wax coating helps the wick light easily and burn steadily. For oil lamps and burners to use these wicks with see our incense burners collection.
The Cork Floater
The set includes one cork floater, which holds each wick upright in the oil bowl so it stays centered and at the right height for a clean burn. The floater can be reused with each new wick. Cork floater may come in either of two models as shown in the listing images. To see the oil lamps these wicks are designed for visit our lamps and candles collection.
Using Your Wicks
Setting Up a Wick
Thread one wax wick through the hole in the cork floater. Place the floater on the surface of the oil in your lamp or burner so the wick tip extends just above it. Allow the wick to absorb the oil for a few minutes before lighting. For more clay lamp options compatible with these wicks see our ceramic and glass collection.
Replacing a Worn Wick
When a wick burns down or becomes too short to light, replace it with a fresh one from the pack. Remove the old wick from the cork floater, insert the new one, and place it back in the oil. The cork floater is reusable across all 10 wicks. For other Holy Land worship items see our Jordan River holy water collection.

Storage and Care
Storing Your Wicks
Keep unused wicks in a dry, enclosed space away from moisture. The wax coating can soften in high heat, so avoid storing them in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
Caring for Your Cork Floater
After each use, wipe the cork floater dry before storing. If oil residue builds up on the cork, gently clean it with a dry cloth. The floater is designed for repeated use over time. To learn more about Holy Land Market and our products visit the about Holy Land Market page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of oil lamps do these wicks fit?
These wax wicks are compatible with standard open-bowl oil lamps and burners, including Holy Land clay oil lamps. The cork floater keeps the wick centered in any open-bowl design. For compatible lamp and burner options see our Holy Land incense burners collection.
What is the cork floater for?
The cork floater holds the wick upright and centered in the oil bowl so it stays at the right height for a steady flame. Without it, the wick would sink into the oil or fall to the side. The floater is reusable and works with each of the 10 wicks in the pack.
Can these wicks be used in any oil lamp?
These wicks are designed for open-bowl oil lamps and burners. They work with any lamp where the wick floats on oil rather than sitting in a fixed wick tube. For clay oil lamp options see our clay oil lamps collection.
How long does one wax wick last?
Burn time per wick will vary depending on the amount of oil in the lamp and the size of the flame. When a wick burns down too short to light reliably, simply replace it with a fresh one from the pack and reuse the cork floater.
Are these wicks available in larger quantities?
