A messianic mezuzah consists of a parchment with two biblical passages – Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and Deuteronomy 11:13-21 – imprinted on it. The parchment is contained in a case, which can be hanged or affixed to the doorpost.

You are required to affix mezuzahs to every doorpost in your household – except the bathroom door and the toilet door. By doing so, you are fulfilling the Lord’s commandment, as stated in Deuteronomy 6:9 – ‘You shall write them upon the doorposts of thy house and upon thy gates’.

In the Talmud, the Lord says ‘if a man affixes a mezuzah, did I not give him the house?’ Similarly, the Torah says that the Lord guards over households that have mezuzahs affixed to them and ‘He will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to smite you’.
