What You're Getting
The Tallit
This is the Grafted In Messianic Christian Prayer Shawl, a Creation and Restoration Tallit. In the context of Messianic Judaism, the term Grafted In refers to the belief that non-Jewish followers of Jesus (Yeshua) are spiritually grafted in to the olive tree of Israel, symbolizing their adoption into the covenant promises given to the Jewish people. This concept comes from the writings of the apostle Paul in the book of Romans. Browse our full Messianic tallit collection for more styles.
The Scriptures
This tallit carries four KJV scriptures. Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Isaiah 65:17: "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." Revelation 21:1: "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."
The Atara Blessing
The Atara neck and head piece carries the blessing from Ephesians 1:3 KJV in both English and Hebrew: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." This blessing is woven into the tallit as a daily reminder of the spiritual inheritance of every believer in Yeshua.
